Maximum number of chrome steel balls
To achieve maximum load, MAX bearings are completely filled with high-quality balls of accuracy class 10. No cage means more balls and 40% more load. The bearings are filled with balls by hand due to a very small tolerance between the inner andouter ring.
Rings made of high-carbon chrome steel 52100
The purest steel alloy strong like no other. MAX bearings use a lubricant for marine purposes from CRC. Vaseline will remain in the deposit even under extreme conditions. Even salt water does not penetrate and does not damage the bearing.
LLU type seal
Each sealing ring has two cutting edges that fit into the guide grooves in the inner ring of the bearing. The outer edge preventspenetration of dirt while the inner keeps Vaseline in the bearing. During operation, this system is practically watertight, the Vaseline in the groove of the inner ring creates a watertight barrier.
